Visualize IT

Flooring visualiser

Flooring visualiser for retailers and manufacturers.

A flexible room visualiser for flooring retailers and a floor visualiser for websites — letting customers see carpets, hard flooring, tiles and surfaces in their own rooms before they buy. Catalogue-driven and built around how your customers actually shop.

Wilton Carpets Visualiser

“In Visualize IT we found a partner that not only had answers to all the questions we presented them with but also offered creative ideas to enhance the customer experience. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication during the build and implementation was superb.”

What the flooring visualiser does

Everything a flooring retailer or manufacturer needs to turn browsing into confident buying — across web and showroom.

01

Customer photo upload

Shoppers upload a photo of their own room and see your flooring rendered in place — at the right scale, tone and pattern repeat. The most persuasive demo is the customer’s own space.

Sample rooms

No photo to hand? Curated sample rooms let customers preview products instantly, so the journey never stalls online or in the showroom.

Product catalogue integration

We map the visualiser to your catalogue — collections, colourways and SKUs — so what customers see stays in step with what you actually sell.

Samples, quotes and cart links

Turn a visualised room into action. Link straight through to sample orders, quote requests or add-to-cart, keeping the path to purchase short.

Mobile QR upload

A QR code lets customers work on a large desktop screen and get photos from their phone's image library.

Online and showroom use

The same visualiser works on your website and on a showroom tablet or screen, giving sales teams a consistent tool wherever the conversation happens.

Bespoke colourways

Design a colourway before you commit to production.

For manufacturers offering bespoke or specification products, the visualiser can include a recolouring tool. Customers or design teams choose from curated named palettes, swap individual colours within a pattern, and see the result rendered in the room in real time.

Once a colourway is agreed, they can export a PDF, request a sample, or move straight to a quote — all without a single back-and-forth email about which shade of teal they meant.

Benefits for retailers and manufacturers

For flooring retailers

Convert more website visitors, reduce "not what I expected" returns, and give showroom staff a tool that closes the gap between a small sample and a finished room. The visualiser links straight to samples, quotes and cart actions to keep momentum.

For manufacturers

Present collections consistently, equip your stockists with a branded visualiser, and showcase new ranges the moment they launch — all driven by your own catalogue data so the experience stays accurate across every channel.

Frequently asked questions

What flooring products can the visualiser support?
The visualiser can support carpets, rugs, runners, LVT, vinyl, laminate, wood flooring, tiles and other surface products. If your range includes more specialised products, we can look at the best way to represent them accurately.
Is this a B2B flooring visualiser?
Yes. Visualize IT develops B2B software, licensed to flooring manufacturers, retailers and surface brands — but it is built for their customers to use directly. Customers upload a photo of their own room, or choose a sample scene, and see the flooring in place before they buy. You get the visualiser and catalogue tools; your customers get the experience of trying products in their own space.
Can the visualiser be branded for our business?
Yes. The visualiser can be styled around your own brand, including logo, colours, product structure and customer journey. Most projects include discreet “powered by Visualize IT” attribution, but fully debranded options can be discussed where required.
Is this a white-label flooring visualiser?
It can be, depending on what you need. In practice, many clients want the visualiser to feel like a natural part of their own website while still retaining a small Visualize IT attribution. If you require a fully debranded or private-label presentation, we can discuss that as part of the project.
Can it be added to our existing website?
Yes. The visualiser can work as a hosted tool, an embedded module, or a more integrated part of your existing website or sales journey. The right route depends on your website platform, catalogue data and how you want customers to move from visualising to ordering samples, requesting a quote or buying.
Does it connect to our product catalogue?
Yes. We map the visualiser to your collections, colourways, SKUs and product imagery, so customers are visualising products you actually sell. The aim is to keep the experience aligned with your range rather than creating a disconnected design tool.
Can customers design their own carpet colourways in the visualiser?
Yes, where supported by the product range. The visualiser can include a recolouring tool that lets customers or design teams choose from curated palettes and swap individual colours within a pattern to create a bespoke colourway — seeing the result rendered in their room in real time. Once a colourway is agreed, they can export a PDF, request a sample, or move straight to a quote. It is particularly suited to manufacturers offering bespoke or commercial specification products.
Can the visualiser link to samples, quotes or checkout?
Yes. A visualised product can link through to sample ordering, quote requests, product pages, stockists or add-to-cart actions. The important thing is to keep the customer moving while their confidence is highest.
Can it be used in showrooms as well as online?
Yes. The same visualiser can support online customers, showroom staff and sales teams. It can be used on tablets, desktops or larger screens, helping customers compare products in context while they are surrounded by physical samples.
Do we need perfect product images before starting?
Not always. Good product imagery helps, but we can advise on what is needed, what can be improved, and how to handle different product types. For many clients, part of the value is working out the most practical route from existing product data to a usable visualiser.

Flooring visualisation can be extended naturally into our stair visualiser and rug visualiser, helping customers explore floors, stairs, rugs and runners as part of one connected experience.
